The Iowa Department on Aging is pleased to promote events (meetings, conferences, summits, etc.) on its Events Calendar page that pertain to the fields of aging and/or disability and are targeted to aging and disability network professionals. To submit an event for consideration, please send an email with the event title, start date/time, end date/time, location (venue, address, city, state, zip), brief description and contact information (name, phone, email, website) to firstname.lastname@example.org.
To celebrate and recognize the tremendous work being done in the fields of aging and disability across the State of Iowa, the Iowa Department on Aging will be hosting several educational webinars in 2018 collectively known as the Dialogue on Aging Series. These programs are free and open to the public, but are specifically designed for older Iowans, aging and disability professionals, caregivers and advocates. Each will focus on a particular topic and showcase the many ways talented individuals and passionate organizations in communities across Iowa are working to improve the quality of life and care for older adults and adults with disabilities.
